| "Being the President of the Mt. Olivet UMC Youth Group has been an absolute blast! I really feel like I am doing God's will by helping plan all of our service projects, outreach, youth Sundays, and Resurrection retreats! I am also the secretary of the Wytheville District Youth Group, where I help make decisions for the whole district. That has been a huge blessing as well. My friends in youth group are my rock. They are my best friends in the world. We go to each other with our problems and questions about faith. They are the greatest, and I am proud to walk in faith with them!! | Ashley Strickland here, I'm the Vice President of the Mt. Olivet Youth Group and I was just like you new guys. I didn't know what I felt for God, but after 3 yrs. of being a youth member I've come to know where my relationship stands with God. I've made friends, went to the yearly Resurrection trip, and am becoming a member of Mt. Olivet each & everyday I attend the service. |
| Hey! My name is Zack and I just wanted to tell you a few reasons why I think you should join us at youth every Sunday night. I love youth because I get to give glory to God with my guitar on youth Sunday, so bring your instrument and jam with me! We also go to an awesome youth retreat called Resurrection every January. Camp Dickenson is one of my favorite places in the world to hang out every summer. It's the place that I gave my life to Christ. Our youth group raises money every summer to send all of us to camp on scholarship. We also do cool fund-raisers like Rock-A-Thons that are a lot of fun. These are just a few reasons why I hope you join us at Mt. Olivet UMC Youth! |
| I'm Sarah and our youth group is awesome & fun. We do a lot of stuff like take trips to different places. We do plays, and we also have meals for everybody that comes to our church. It would be cool if we had lots more to be in our youth. We are very welcoming and friendly to everybody or anybody that comes to our church! |
| Whatsupp, I'm Tyler and my favorite thing about youth is resurrection. You get to hang out and the concert and worship is awesome. So I hope you come to join our youth group, it's so much fun. |
